Ring of Rings for ARBs is the best, but for frodo and such, Ring of Doom is the best one to use. |

Without respite my blood will flow
O’er your eyes ‘til they cannot see
The impossibility of victory.'

Lurtzy hit it on the head for ARBs: 99 times out of 100, RoR is the way to go for them. I’ve successfully played with other Rings for Galadriel BoW and Sam BoGN, though.
I also agree that RoD (or AtAR) is usually the best all-around option for Frodo. However, though I initially disliked it, I’ve found that The Great Ring is pretty awesome as long as you’re not facing a strong corruption deck or RB-wounding deck. |
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones
Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

Frodo gets The Great Ring for overwhelm protection. Alternate Ring-bearers generally get The Ring of Rings for corruption protection. Although for Galadriel I might use The Ring of Doom instead since she has low strength, doesn’t have the burdening drawback, and the extra vitality can be useful for Nocked and toil cards. |

I like ROR just for the fact that you can put the ring on in response. This has saved me many times from woundy stuff. |
What is it? What do you smell? |

Yeah, if not for RoR, DaD kill decks could go up another notch.
The only rare ring I’ve pulled is SaWtC (not foil, TH13)--a pity it doesn’t see much play. |

My favourite 2 are Ring Of Rings and The Great Ring. It all depends on the which RB I’m playing, though. |
Trade With Me, I went to Middle Earth, and all I got was this stupid ring!

The most-used ring is The Ruling Ring, even if it isn’t the best. |

I voted for the great ring. I love playing frodo, I have plenty shire decks, but I also play frodo in all my rohan, in one of my elven deck (I use galadriel, sorceress of the hidden lands, it’s the best healing card there is with the elves), some choke decks, and some multicultural, gandalf, shire rohan.
With a ring that good, many of my decks don’t need an alternate ring bearer (why should I want 4 additional strenght inexchange for 4 points of resistance, especialy since most games, my ringbearer won’t fight once, and if he does, I can have a nice +12 to strenght with those 4 resistance points).
The only real drawback of my strategy is the cavern entrance, but in exchange, I have way less problems against corruption (ARB have less resistance and tend to corrupt themselves with their drabacks, while a 12 resist frodo is kind of hard to corrupt). |
