Here is one very old deck I found here (not under my bed ). It was designed for a TTT Block Tournament and it uses onl cards from
sets 4, 5 & 6. It actually won a match (thanks to the fellowship), but later was defeated by a nasty NAzgul Deck.
I will not bore you with the Shadow Side (it was very weak Sauron shadow - only Wraiths, Grishakh and a bunch of uncommon Orcs).
I proudly present the Helm’s Deep Elven Defenders Deck (wow!)
RB
Frodo, Courteous Halfling
The Water Ring
Companions - 5 cards
Legolas, AoM (starting)
Pengedhel, NAith Warrior (starting)
Erethon, Naith Lieutenant
Naith Warband
Thonnas, Naith Captain
Possessions - 13 cards
Legolas’ Sword
Naith Longbow x 4
Elven Sword x 4
Elven Brooch x 2
Banner of Elbereth
Hobbit sword
Conditions and Events - 17 cards
Strength of Arms
Blades drawn x 2
Agility x 2
Company of Archers x 3
Break the Charge
Night without end
That is No Orc Horn
Forearmed x 3
Supporting Fire x 2
Swifly and Softly
35 cards in total
Sites
East Wall of Rohan
Uruk Camp
Barrows of Edoras
Westemnet Hills
Hornburg Parapet
Hornburg Armory
Hornburg Wall
Wizard’s Vale
Palntir chamber
The strategy is simple - to equip your elves with Longbows and sword as soon as possible and then try to reach site 9 first. The game text of the Naith Soldiers gains great bonuses from the longbows - Pengedhel is Strength 10, vitality 3 (with a bow and a sword) for the total twilight cost of 4. Same for warband, thonnas and Erethon.
Elven brooch must be played to protect some of the possessions, and Company of Archers, Night Without End and That is no Orc horn can do some work to weaken the enemy. The boost events and conditions are also crucial for this deck. Note that Frod is very vulnerable, and that’s why there is a Swiftly and Softly - just in case:)
This deck has many weak sides, but it was built a looong time ago and it was pretty useful, especially against uruks and Dunlendings. |

Neat. I had a Helms Deep Elf deck a long time ago. It was pretty cool. The whole idea was to use archery and then use cards that reduced the minions strength form the wounds you can spot. I always liked Thonnas. He looked awesome. (Get him a rag, he is bleeding!) |

I would post it if I still had it. When Reflections was released, I took it apart to build the Dwarves.
I remember some...Legolas-Greenleaf and Thonnas started
Some Lorien swordsmen, Pengedhel, Balglin, and Haldir-EotG
Elven sword and bows, and 2 naith longbows for Thonnas and Pengendhel.
The events and conditions were all about archery and strength -2.
1 or 2 break the charge, some feathered, a couple valor.
the conditions: some blades drawn, strength of arms, and a tale of gil-galad for legolas.... and a hobbit sword for frodo. |

My telepathy deck looked a lot like this until the release of RotK and Reflections. Naith Elves rocks! |
I'm not stupid. I'm just unlucky when I'm thinking. |
