They play into your support area. The cost to play them is on the top left as always, but you must pay the "aid" cost during the maneuver phase to attach it to a bearer. At the end of your turn you must place the follower back into your support area.
Uruviel, woodland maid
She costs 2 to play from hand and costs 1 twilight to "aid" during the maneuver phase. When you "aid" you may exert an elf to make the current site a forest until the of the turn. If you decide to move again, she stays on the bearer until the end of your turn. You may choose to "aid" her to another companion during the next maneuver phase. Then, you may use the exertion ability on the current site if you want.
At the end of the turn, she goes to your support area until next turn.
I believe you must "aid" at the beginning of your maneuver phase... otherwise they could be "aided" several times.
She goes just great with:
Orophin, Brother of Haldir
Legolas, Son of Thranduil
Haldir, Sentry of the Golden Wood
Celeborn, The Wise
