Okay, I know I’m getting ahead of myself, because Hunters is...um...to be released...
But, according to Wikipedia, the next block will start with a set named "The Great Eye". Since the ROTK block, every new block has added a different, major game mechanic. With Shadows, it was a revamp of the site path. With Hunter, it’s going to be the hunter keyword.
So...what is the "Great Eye" mechanic going to be? (all speculation, of course)

Actually, the next set coming out is Rise of Saruman. I don’t know where wikipedia got itd info, but i’m sure that the next set is gonna be RoS.

No, not the next set-the next block. RoS is an expansion, I’m pretty sure. Wiki has RoS next in line...I just counted up two sets, to account for the traditional two-expansion formula Decipher uses. That puts the next block at The Great Eye.

Here is a link to The One Ring, AtaR oversized card.
It lists the sets in the order that they will come out. It goes Rise of Saruman, Treachery and Deceit, then The Great Eye.

I hope The Great Eye has several versions of Sauron, and some support cards.

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. Razz

Oh, sorry, i got my terms mixed up.

Anyway, i think that the Eye block will probably make some breathtaking (and massacring) game mechanic. Something like "The end", that will let you win the game if you have all of your 9 companions out.
I will also cry, because 1) tons of broken cards, and 2) no more LOTR TCG.
Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

This game has gone on far past the movies, and after The Age’s End, we’ll all be doomed.
Just think, no more LOTR TCG.
...WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh!!!!!!!!!!

But i am looking forward to Treachery and Deceit Very Happy

Remember (allegedly) with the release of Great Eye, RotK will rotate out so it will finally streamline all the minion cultures again. So I would look more to what we are losing then what new we should hope for - Southrons, Knights, Corsairs, Besiegers...to name a few.

I think this block has to carefully balance what is being removed from Standard play to ensure the final product is stable and balanced across all cultures - a not so easy task.

I used to like getting gum in my baseball cards...maybe beef jerky??

Yeah, Decipher should put bubble gum in their packs.
