My free peoples side :
This deck has a Noble Leaders starting fellowship with Elendil, Rangers, a Hobbit, and a Wizard in the deck. I use Denethor, Lord of Minas Tirith’s ability at site 3 to pull either Elendil, The Tall and Narsil, Blade of the Faithful or if I feel I need it Noble Leaders and a Sword.
I try to get second place with this deck so I can cycle out minions and set up a hand to move to site 3. Faramir, Captain of Gondor should be 9 strength until site 3 which helps.
I use 3 Ancient Roads and if I get all of them even a Nazgul can be roaming until site 9.
If a minion is roaming it boosts Faramirs and my Ranger of Ithilien strength and makes my skirmish events like Swordsman of the Northern Kingdom and War And Valor very good. Also with Ithilien Blades companions skirmishing roaming minion are strength +1.
And yes I do have 10 companions. Since Pippin, Wearer of Black And Silver can be returned to hand and then discarded this seems to work. I would like feedback as to what I should do with Gandalf. Should I get rid of him or add cards for him?
The minion side is the one that I need advice the most. Right now it is just a basic deck with some resistance stuff like Tempest of War and Our Foes are Weak.
Also are their any cards that help men gain muster?
Now please post your response. |

I would agree with SoP, Dagger strike isn’t that good. |

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. |

The Uruks can be better, search against my name for an older deck from last year to see a little more concentrated version of them (should be on like the 4th page or so), in tandem with a Gondor token strategy.
Anyways, as to your question with Gandalf, if you’re going to run LOTC outside of the starting fellowship, which is almost always the case, you need to either run four of them, three of them and a 60 card deck, or none at all. LOTC exists to help the fellowship survive the first region. Your chances of pulling him on the opening draw with a single copy are virtually nil. |
