The first site is the league itself. The second link I posted is where you can download the SDA software. |

Is the download time slow, because I have a dial up conection, and the phoneline was installed about 35 years ago. |

I’ve just made a deck! I feel like an idiot, too. When I finished it, I tried to save it-and it told me it was illegal. I went back, checked everything...yeah, it was even Standard-legal! And then I realized it had no sites. |

Yeah, it’s very handy for alerting you when your deck is illegal when it comes to the number of cards, but you are the one that has to make sure it is legal for the format you’re playing. |

BTW...what’s the best way to start a game with someone? Should I send an email and arrange a playing time? Or are there enough members that I can hit the site at peak times to play with whoever’s there? |

The best way to contact players for games is to use MSN messenger. That’s the most common messenger service that the league players use. Go through the contact list on the league’s page and start adding some of the frequent players to your MSN friends list.
You can start by adding me: bib_fortuna20@yahoo.com |

How do you tell if you can host? And do you have any recommendations of who to add? I’ve already gone and added most of the CC players. |

The only way you can tell if you can host is if you try hosting a game. If your opponent can’t connect to you, then you can’t host. The reason most people can’t host is because of a firewall. I used to know a way how to get around my firewall so I could host on my old computer at my old house, but I forget it now; my new computer at my new apartment can host without doing anything special.
Some of the good players on the league are:
Goblin-Breed
Aarendil
Smallman
Redoschi
theAragorn
Imrahil
BoromirLOG
Petya
SnowBalrog
Fenix
Motardcool
Paippo
Heldarion
WitchKingBlkCapt
There are lots of other players too, but these are the ones that are most active that I can think of off the top of my head. |
All cards do what they say. |
