Not bad, in my opinion. The ability to own some corsairs is very nice, and it also can hurt the new warg decks.
Gets a 5 from me. |
All cards do what they say. |

Solid card!
I would definitely play Narsil, Forged by Telchar over Narsil, Blade of the Faithful unless my deck was extremely artifact-heavy. (And maybe even then!) The strength bonus is more reliable, and damage +1 on big companions is always useful. The exertion ability is fantastic as well, especially on a five-vitality Elendil!
As Bib mentioned, Corsairs will be much less of a problem. Expect the new Narsil to take out a lot of possessions and wargs as well. |

I give it a 5. It’s an excellent card. Definately worth using, and more well-rounded than Narsil, Blade of the Faithful without overshadowing it; both versions of Narsil are still tempting in different decks.
The ONLY thing dragging it down is the picture. At least show a non-shattered shot of it! Oy. |
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones
Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

I love this picture! It’s so... shiny.
The lore is sweet too. A great card vs. possession-based Orcs or Men, right?

It would make a great picture for the Shards of Narsil....

That’s true. I have to hand it to them for that. |

I’m with Dáin, why the hell do they always show Narsil shattered? How would bearing a shattered sword help AT ALL in skirmishes (yeah, it was shattered when it cut the Ring from Sauron’s hand, but then add a Sauron-specific bonus!)? Picture sucks badly, IMO! At least show it in one piece! |

SWEET NARSIL! I LOVE IT! this card is very very good. +3, damage and nice discard text. The old narsil is completely overshadowed IMO (except maybe for use on isildur with the vitality bonus) |
