Hmm. So discard everything, play one companion or ally per turn with Greyhame, pull the right tool back with Barlimin, grab tossed permanents with On Your Doorstep.
I don't discard everything, I usually discard cards from the top to get a key card out i.e.,
Cirdan,
AWINL (if I have Barlamin in hand and I don't have Gandalf out),
Deep in Thought, etc.
I guess most of the FP strength comes from Slaked Thirsts + Greenleaf?
The
Slaked Thirsts +
Greenleaf combo is strong in the deck, but it doesn't rely on it. For a long time, the deck didn't have Slake thirsts and the main power came from
Cirdan,
Arwen, Echo of Luthien,
Glimpse of Fate +
Banner of Elbereth. And if I couldn't win skirmishes, I'd just heal up with
Shoulder to shoulder, which is another powerful card in the deck.
Everything else seems situational
Pretty much. Almost every card besides characters and few other cards are situational.
Yeah, a replay would be helpful
I got three for ya.
I see that there's a lot it could do, but I'm not sure what it really does haha. I suppose it depends on the game.
Very true. A lot of cards you pull will depend on what your opponents playing.
