A few comments on the NG side:
- Personally I like to stick with
Threatening Guide primarily (wanting as many threats as possible), and
Stinker as backup (corrupting the Ring-bearer if the threats were swallowed as burdens). So I'd run
We Must Have It to increase the chance of pulling/replaying one of them, and possibly drop
Mad Thing and
Hopeless in the process.
- Huge fan of
Not Easily Avoided, so I suggest it every chance I get.
Helps set up faster, cycle, and can even boost Shelob (Gollum, too) as well. And of course if Shelob can win her skirmish, that's another exertion from
Promise Keeping.

You're a Liar and a Thief is a great card in Expanded. In combination with
Promise Keeping and
Incited, one copy can kill a 3-vitality companion that wasn't even assigned to a skirmish (plus exert another). I'd definitely try to fit more in.
