 I know he is a bit over powered but hey, at least you can't start him.

Seems like a slightly improved version of Isildur's Bane.  :x

Definitely  needs to be damage +1. The enduring seems cool.

Don't forget a rather important "r" in the title, and an "o" in "response".

This seems okay. Sort of like a revamped Isildur's Bane. I might prefer strength +1 intead of vitality +1, though.

That's pretty interesting, actually. Perhaps give him above-average resistance, like 11 or 12, and/or MAYBE 5 strength. Then I like him quite a bit.

Um...not too sure about ths one. I'd prefer one of the following:

Either way, I think damage +2 is just too much.

Fun, but unlikely to see much use since it's so specific. Perhaps something like this instead?

Even that is awfully specific, so perhaps give some other incentive for using it, like allowing any Dwarf to bear it or making it target more than one race/culture.

"Pursued" is misspelled. So is "Response." And "Until." This is... basically Ring of Rings with different stat modifiers. Which I think could be a bit OP, personally. I'd prefer a set phase to wear the Ring - perhaps putting it on during the Fellowship phase (for no initial cost - or maybe twilight!) would add some flavor. But I know that Rings are some of the most difficult cards to design in a set.

The downside is too much for simply one more strength. Especially with Frodo, WFtJ out there.

I'm not entirely sure what to say. A card like this hasn't exactly been made before - so I wouldn't know how to balance it.

Although a regular Gimli with conditional enduring wouldn't be OP. If you wanted to go for that.

Needs culture. And a period after Gimli. Unless you're making more minions, it isn't that good. Maybe make it any orc.

Anyways, It's good to hear that you're starting a DC set. Practice makes perfect.

EDIT: Noticed Dain's response. He's got good suggestions. And if you're worried about lore, Dain did send me some Word files for the LotR trilogy - it's obviously a good place to pull lore from. Perhaps you could coerce him to get you some, eh?

There's an ugly typo in the Ring's name. I also think it might be overpowered like #$&*@!, boosting resistance, vitality AND allowing to wear it at ANY time for the cost of a burden per wound (not even for wearing it)

I wouldn't say he's overpowered, really. It's fairly dangerous keeping him powerful, so I say he's actually a bit twilight-intensive right now. You could simply lose the strength bonus from minions and easily let him at , I mean, look at the drawback on Strider, it's not CLOSE to being as serious as the one on Gimli!

Again, lacking a timing for it's usage. It might be too powerful, I think I'd either make it into a cheaper event or cap it at 1-2 uses per turn/phase.

This ring is I think too powerful, though Rings are obviously very difficult to design. It's slightly better than Ring of Rings and straight better than Isildur's Bane. It needs some kind of drawback to the ability to wear the Ring any time and take only 1 burden. I quite like EL's idea of wearing the ring only in a specific phase and I would recommend Maneuver so that you're losing some versatility in that respect to get some in others.

to is a massive jump. With all that text, I would leave him at which makes him much harder to start than at but I think that would be an appropriate cost. On the other hand, I'd be tempted to lose some text and power to make him cost his usual , but if you're making a theme out of companions with different stats, that's cool as well.

Dwarves I don't think should be this good at defender bonuses. I would make this title a skirmish pump.

Compare to Battle to the Last - this one is much worse. I would throw in a straight strength pump as well: "Make a Dwarf strength +2 and damage +1 for each wound on him."

Awesome! You don't need to exert, but this is a great card. I think, however, that it needs a different title because Competition suggests only Legolas, not a whole bunch of Elves that you would be using with this card.

Hmmmm, I like.

You need some spotting requirement, like a whole bunch of Dwarves. Then I'd add the keyword "Fortification" just for fun!

Again needs a phase. Presumably maneuver? I reckon as a condition this could be too good. I would make it cost or and make it a maneuver event.
