Moving This Way cycling engine

Designed for a running FP. Simple in theory, but could use tweaking to be as efficient as possible.

30 cards.

2 Gollum, Old Villain
3 The Witch-king, Morgul King
4 Ulaire Cantea, Faster Than Winds
3 Ulaire Enquea, Lieutenant of Morgul
4 Ulaire Nertea, Dark Horseman
4 Ulaire Otsea, Seventh of the Nine Riders

4 Hides
4 Moving This Way

2 Captured by the Ring

Hides is the epitome of a cycling card; play it, draw a card, it was never there. Moving This Way mimics that by cycling Nazgul to the bottom of your deck and drawing cards while you're at it.

It's risky to depend entirely on Moving This Way, though, in case of a horrible shuffle or heavy condition removal--Nazgul aren't the cheapest minions to play. The final component to this deck is Gollum, Old Villain, who dumps cards as needed from your hand (including any FP cards drawn when you reconciled). The unusual split between Gollum and CbtR is so you have the chance to filter him from your draw deck twice.

Going through the Nazgul choices:

- Cantea: adds threats and otherwise harasses the fellowship with possession removal. Could set up Nertea.
- Enquea: crowd control and could help Otsea.
- Nertea: might manage a stop on his own, or pick on weak companions for Otsea.
- Otsea: more card draws.
- Witch-king: pulls and cycles a Nazgul.

That about covers it. Thanks for any suggestions!

Well, I generally run a Moving This Way in my Solo Smeagol, and my Last Ruling Steward/Faramir, POI/Boromir, BoC deck, so...

Here's my basic version. Cycles well, and can be a bit of a pain, too:

2x *Ithil Stone (9R+47)
2x A Shadow Rises (11R216)
2x Lingering Shadow (12U166) (or Black Breath)
4x Moving This Way (11S213)
2x Minas Morgul Answers (12U167)
2x *The Witch-king, Morgul King (7R221)
4x *Ulaire Attea, Keeper of Dol Guldur (1R229)
4x *Ulaire Cantea, Faster Than Winds (7R211)
4x *Ulaire Lemenya, Lieutenant of Morgul (1U232)
4x *Ulaire Nertea, Black-Mantled Wraith (7U217)
4x *Ulaire Otsea, Seventh of the Nine Riders (11R224)
4x Black Rider (12U161)

Ithil Stone is a nice card, cycles well, and costs 0. Shadow Rises, a consistent minion, so you have more than just one minion, even under max cycling.
Lingering shadow and/or Black Breath and Minas Morgul Answers are nice, and add a little bit of stopping power, and can almost always be played.
The WK and Cantea combo lets you get another Nazgul into hand to send to the bottom of the deck, so you can get another Freeps card, and Otsea draws cards for more cycling.

The other nazgul can pretty much be switched in and out at will, though actually, normally I have two copies of The Witch-King, LotN, and  maybe Shotgun Enquea.
Forget it. I'm not arguing with the computer anymore to try to get the sig I want....

Nice trick with Morgul King! I completely overlooked that. :gp: Thinking about switching Duplicitous Specter to SotNR as well; I like how the latter doesn't need to spot another Nazgul to draw cards.

No love for Dark Horseman, though? He can single-handedly win games.
