Bad Gemp Players' List

Actually I had some thinking on the subject of LR, and I also don't mind to meet her in the format. For example I believe she is far more broken than Dauntless hunter in Tower STD or HttWC in Fellowship block. Yeah it can ruin your shadow strategy just by itself and she makes cards like Cirdan far more powerful. But it also controls a bit the meta just by her presence. I can also add that she sees near no play on GEMP at tournaments. Some people hate movie block because of her, I can only say to them to play some Movie Tournaments. I've seen Galadriel LR in less than 2% of my movie block games, on the other hand I've seen dauntness hunter in Twr Std in more than 90% of my games against non-Skeeve opponents..

PS : This guy had some obvious nostalgic attachments about her, so you shoudn't try to ruin it for him.

I hate her as well, but she doesn't seem to be going anywhere. I would love for a movie format w/ her excluded, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen on Gemp anytime soon, despite cries from users. If you can't stand playing her, simply concede when she pops up, as I do.

I think the best solution would be to errata her. Something like this, "Galadriel, Lady Redeemed. 3. Fellowship or Regroup: Exert Galadriel twice and discard an event from hand to discard a shadow condition/possession.

Absolutely, she would still be a powerful card, but the repeated discarding wouldn't work.

I have to agree.  I hate Galadriel, LR, but I cannot see any way we'll ever be able to X-list her.  This is because when you start putting cards on X-lists (or give them errata), you'll split the community too much as to what to do next (I'd much rather ban The Shire Countryside as I feel nobody uses that card without trying to be abusive, or Grima, Chief Counselor as a card that kills of many would be fun fellowship ideas).  If you cannot stand playing against her, don't play the format, or use a deck that isn't crushed by her.  Sometimes I do wish we could play custom games privately (for example just using a starter deck against a friend-not possible as they have only 60, not 71 cards), but until then you'll just have to live with her.  There's a reason I only really play block (even RotK and WotR-both so much more fun than Expanded/Movie/Towers Standard!)

Could be connection, might not be his fault, but he starts a ton of tables, so, putting him on "warning list"

You report someone and then what? He's not gonna be banned. Yeah, if someone is notorious for being a jerk people  can choose not to play him in Casual, but 1. He can still troll and insult in other people's games and in the main chat and 2. not that many playing on Gemp read these forums in the first place.

Some moderation team on Gemp would be nice, but that would require some volunteers with enough free time and some work for MarcinS as well.

I agree that bad language should be punished as well as rage quitting.

To play devil's attorney, I have to say that currently on Gemp, meta is direct wounding and massive archery... And as so many people play like that, it's really boring.

Original deck are more and more scarce, it's a pity... Playing the same decks all day long is really annoying...

The purpose was never to ID people to ban, it was originally created as a kind of repository of names we could reference so we knew who NOT to play against. Basically is was a "Play this person at your own risk" list.
