I would really like to see some new options to change this from happening. For example, more then 3 ragequits should get a ban for a few weeks not to play in my opinion. I have games as well in which I get slaughtered and I don't like it, but then I concede.. Not just quit. It's getting very annoying I must say..

Problem is, it's impossible to distinguish a rege-quit from an authentic problem with connection/computer. Would you like to be banned, if you happen to have a problem with your PC/connection 3 times?

Taking into account the game situation prior to quitting (and the chat transcript if possible) it's easy to distinguish connection problems and ragequitting.

I killed Frodo and forgot that if passed the response to Sam taking the one ring... sorry about that but it wasn't RAGE quit. I realy thought it was game over. I always concede before quitting usualy, either when I'm about to die or when one of my children needs me because I don't want to make other players stand there while I'm busy. Please accept my appologies for earlier today Madgoblin, it was mearly a mistake from a player who usualy play with physical cards...

i am pretty new to the site...today alone i had two people leave/quit without conceding waiting for the game to time out.

1st: Radagast.....never bid and left me stuck for him to time out. Maybe it was a mistake but annoying.

2nd: Jholz72.....left at site 5 after his Dunland could not win a skirmish. Seems he makes a habit of this.

1th one is probably a player missing the warning sound you entered the game. That happens sometimes.

2nd one is indeed ragequit.

It's the standard in gaming that if you quit or have a connection issue, you lose, whether it's MT:G on PC (...)

Incorrect. At least not on MTGO. If you lose connection you can reconnect and you have 10 minutes to do that. After 10 minutes of inactivity (when it's your turn to do something), you forfeit the game. That's exactly the same approach I used in Gemp.
