LotR TCG anthology box sets questions
« on: December 23, 2008, 01:59:49 AM »
Hi there!

I want to get all three anthologies from the movie block. I aleady managed to get my hands on a TTT anthology and a RotK anthology seems to be as easily obtainable, but the FotR basically has to be cobbled together, hasn't it?

1) Where can I get the cardlist that was included in the set?

2) Do the card boxes vary in color and/or design? If not, I could simply buy another TTT or RotK anthology to get a third box...

3) Why does the RotK anthology come with only 17 tengwar cards? I read somewhere that there was to be some sort of redemption offer for the eighteenth card. Does anybody have more detailed information on that?

Many thanks and happy holidays!!!

The boxes are all the same. So yes.

The 18th card is anduril flame of the west and you had to redeem decipher points on the website to get it. So your best bet is to look on ebay or more likely trade for it on this site.

Many thanks and happy holidays!!!

And you!

Many thanks for the answers.

I was actually thinking of the booklet that came with the box set. It had a list of the FotR block cards and the game text and other stats of the tengwar cards in normal writing. So far, I haven't found a way to get ahold of one of those.... :(

Also, how much would the Anduril tengwar card be? About the same as a rare foil ring or even more? Does anybody know how many of these cards are around?

Many thanks and take care!

I doubt anyone would sell the booklets without the boxes...

War of the Ring doesnt even come with a booklet.
