This is what I should have played at the tournement....I guess a site 3 kill would have been possible. All the fellowship out of the deck, cycle with palantir as long as you get 4x lost to the goblins -or less when playing vs a low resistance RB- and unleash the bomb....Thanks NB, for rubbing it in. I was so convinced that the rule of 4 had changed into played and take in to hand from your drawdeck, so that a follower deck wasn't an option anymore...if it was: i would have won...but no-one would have liked me, not as much as they do now

Just a suggestion, and I know it will have it's flaws but it can help you draw more quickier to get your shadow cards ASAP. Since you are running in expanded and not Austrian formet (if I got that tournament format correct) maybe swithc out RB and run Galadriel with Ring of rings. You can toss followers to pump her as will with the horn so she can fight no problem and you can use Woodhall Elf as soon as you use the other to pull it to help cycle. That means you can possible drop Arwen unless you just like adding threats to reconcile your hand (though like you say all freeps card will be out of deck at site 2, so what will you be reconciling if you play nothing during the fellowship phase . With Arwen gone you can throw in another Rohan Stable Master or Rohan Worker (since they are the pumping cards in this deck). If you drop Arwen and don't want to replace with another follower throm in gloin to help cycle as well :up.

Edit: If you want to give Galadriel a bit more resistance cut Aldred, Eored Warrior with Ordulus, Young Warrior. He Cost 1 has a low strength but after the followers hit the table he can pump like the rest of them and gives you another elf to spot for Galadriel .

Well duh lol. Then instead oh Aldred in the starting fellowship go with Merry, Swordthain Incase Your Horns get tossed) or per happen Farmer Maggot and Fatty .

Ya, Merry, Swordthain is typically run in the deck, but I ran Pippin cuz he drops price of followers.
