@ AMFSOOK- how ridiculous were the claims? How much did they think the cards were worth?

0,99 $ - the complete ros foil set!

no, I mean there are some differences concerning valuing cards in regions like Germany or the states or even eastern europe... definitely...

Mithrandir I am known to the Elves, Tharkun to the dwarves; Olorin was the name in my youth in the West which is forgotten, in the South Incanus, in the North Gandalf; into the East I will not go."

Actually i was offered 5 Euro for my Aragorn Thorongil MW.

Then Someone offered me 25 Euro + postage for all 43 of my Hunters Rares.

Then i got another offer from a trader here on these forums for 5 of the most expensive Hunters Rares i have and he wanted them + 4 other cards for 20 Euro.

Bill Ferny alone i could sell for $10-15 US
Aragorn goes for $10 US

I mean if the rare is worth $2 ill sell it for $2 no probs, i dont mark up prices otherwise id never get a trade, but when i reject a rediculous trade offer and then they get all pansy pissy whiny and start gettin upset, thats where i just dont reply.

Can someone explain to me why Germans think the rest of the world are stupid?
No offence to those of you guys ive traded with, but i mean im soo fed up with the rediculous claims that there card prices are sooo much different to the rest of the world.

I mean FFS - i check german card stores for there prices of cards and there actually more expensive then most stores i but from. yet if i was to suggest a price for a card i was selling these german guys shout abuse and tell me that we must have different ideas of the cards value cause there not that much in europe. ROFLMFAO is all i got to say to that!

From now on if your german (and again no offence to those people i do trade with regularly but if you are german ill only be accepting or denying your offers of trade. I refuse to list any price or trade deal cause there so fn up themselves.

Hi AMFSOOK,

I think, I'm one of those german guys with a different idea of card pricing you're so angry about.

I just requested if you're willing to sell cards and what your prices for a specific couple of cards would be. When recieving your prompt answer I was laughing out loud.

No offense, but the prices where just ridiculus (in my opinion). You claryfied the the prices maybe would have been better if I had made an offer by myself. I never complained about that, just declined your offer, because it was nearly double from what I would have been willing to pay. So I had not even started to barter.

And I don't think my idea of card pricing is so typical german/european, due to buying and watching cards worldwide in the last few years. Even for us ebay your prices would have been excessive.

But I agree with you, that some of those offers you posted a few threads above are really very bad.

Whatever you expect for selling your cards, you will only get what another one is willing to pay ;-)

@all: And I want to clarify that I don't think the rest of of the world is stupid ;-)

@ MR. Lurtzy: Throne of Isengard $13.00? Bought one from Great Britain 2 weeks ago for 1,50£. So this was a good deal? ;-P

Greetings,
thewitchhunter

nevertheless we all know that this throne is not much, cause..... it is very obvious, when you not invented an minion gandalf like me and my lads ;) , you cannot really use it for sure..... like said before, I do not know any foil from ros, Td and hunters that is even double in price when foil. I mean realistic, harsh realistic prices on ebay. not the listings in stores where the cards are sold out and the price is still there. My opinion. And in some parts I agree with thewitchhunter. You always get much as you pay for it. I got an ceremonial armor for small 5 euros, I know guys who pay more than 30 for it, cause who trades it? no one

No way. I would say Galadriel's Silver Ewer is worth just one of those cards you have mentioned.
You gave away your life's grace. I cannot protect you anymore.

Agreed, The guy getting the Primitive Savage should get an additional throw-in minor rare (on a similar level as safe passage).

Can anybody tell me if this is a good trade:

17R18 Glamdring, Orc Beater
15R9 Well-crafted Armor
15R29 Gandalf, Powerful Guide
15R146 Hobbiton Brewer, Maker of Fine Ales
for
18R11 Galadriel's Silver Ewer

 ???

yeah definetly agree with elrohir, even if it almost impossible to get one ewer, it's worth in game is as high as an well-crafted armor or gandalf. but maybe two are fair for it. Up to you if you want it desperatly ;)
