Buying FotR-foils

Hello there!

I have just become interested in the LotR TCG and want to start my collection at the very beginning. I have my eye on a couple of auctions for normal sets of the FotR, but I haven't been able to find offers for a complete foiled set. It seems rather straight forward getting basic and foil sets of the two FotR expansions, but nobody seems to want to part with a complete foiled FotR-set...

So, why not try to compile one myself? So far, I have NONE of the FotR foils. I am open to any offers of foils from this set, the more in bulk the better

Hobbit-Pizza: I sent you a PM.

I browsed a little bit through ebay and found that some of the foiled versions of fotr-cards command very high prices.  Seems like it will be quite some time, before my set is complete. 

On ebay complete foil sets of the expansion sets, but not of the core sets, are being sold and go for relatively small prices. Why is that apart from the obviously bigger size of the core sets?

How many of you actually have a complete FotR-Foil Set?

I already have 1 foil set but i am after another.

I paid $200 but this was almost a year ago now. So id be expecting about $350-$400 for a set now if someone did want to offload one.

Anything more then that your better off buying everything seperate from various sellers.

I am actually almost finished my 2nd complete set of foils from all of the LOTR sets. only got FOTR - TTT and BoHD sets to go and im done.

How come prices have gone up? Have all the cards become so scarce already?

My core CCG has been Star Trek (1st Edition) and the devaluation of the game once is was discontinued was simply brutal. Save for a few cards you cannot give them away.

So I expected to see people unloading their collections or at least prices going down due to all the wholesalers dumping their stock. Have all the collectors and players already snatched everything up?
