I think you need to get your priorities straight! Have you listened to K-love recently?
Time
What know we of this despondent thing
No sign no sound no tranquil ring
We try to tell its quantity
yet fail to see the point
Only one can know of it
to this eternal joint
We have not power in Use
To hold this creature bay
But only wait for it to change
Inside the soul of it we lay

I think you need to get your priorities straight! Have you listened to K-love recently?

I would, but they play Casting Crowns and MercyMe too much, so I tend to hit Air1 or WayFM over K-Love.

Seriously, they are a tier 2 band to begin with, Third Day TOTALLY pwns them for the genre they're in, and MercyMe is even worse. And then, you take their WORST song (not even Lifesong is the one that's played, they pick Every Man, East To West and Slow Fade...which all sound identical anyways). And then the music format is so repetetive, that the K-Love thing should be..."Give us 30 minutes and we'll give you, Casting Crowns! MercyMe! Casting Crowns again!"

Casting Crowns used to be decent, I mean, they gave use If We Are The Body, Voice of Truth and Lifesong, but other than those 3 songs, they aren't worth my time. MercyMe's made one good song, I Can Only Imagine (that song is incredible), but other than that, why not pop in Show Me Your Glory, Call My Name, Tunnel, Creed or some other Third Day song? They totally beat both MercyMe and Casting Crowns any day.

Air1 is good because they play all the Christian underground bands. Abandoned, Jonah33 (this band is genius, BTW, Faith Like That is amazing), Seventh Day Slumber, Big Dismal, etc. And they also play the Christian music nobody else will because "OMG its on a mainstream label SHUN!!!!!!!!" (uh...Anberlin, P.O.D., 12 Stones, Remedy Drive, Lifehouse, The Fray).

For good rap, you need to go old school.

Public Enemy
NWA
Dr Dre
Ice T

Okay, Okay, I admit that kluv overplays a lot. But Casting Crowns has so much more to offer.
ever since their Alter and the Door Cd, they've been on fire! Yea, I guess that I didn't really like Lifesong too much when I first heard it, because I didn't really like the new style that casting crowns was fitting into. But, if you give each and every one of their songs a second chance, you'll find that you are beginning to like them. Just listen to som o' them a few more times.
I like What This World Needs. Great song if you like rock. I guess Casting Crowns is slipping away from their original classification. They are still an amazing band, no matter what anybody says.

Forgot to mention; Matthew West is an amazing singer! I went to his concert in Junction City, and he totally blew me away! He likes to get the crowd into it as well. He even made up a song on the spot right there for us. I also liked Josh...Josh something I forgot his name, but he performed before Matthew West in the concert and he blew me away even More!!! Plus, Matthew West is an awesome guy. I got to go backstage and meet him (because our old band director worked @ the place he performed), and he told us about his walk w/ God and everything. I also got a ticket signed but that's beside the point.
I think I'm gonna write him and send him some of my lyrics and see if he likes em.

Eh...if you're going to listen to Christian pop, might as well make it GOOD Christian pop.

Lifehouse, The Fray, Paramore, anyone?

Um...more like MercyMe and Casting Crowns. Matthew West is better comparatively, but when compared to Lifehouse, he stinks.
