Clearly the Pros have figured back then from the start something thats obvious by now - uruks are the most consistent shadow in the block, as in they dont rely heavily on conditions like Moria and Sauron, which can get devastated by a well timed sleep (and ofcourse Saruman is just ridiculous as mentioned). And in my experience nazgul clog your hand much more than uruks - many times you draw like some swords, some conditions and some events and no nazgul. Also notice the 2 Abandoning Reasons in 2nd placed deck, and all the fellowship draw and cycling in 1st and 2nd placed decks.
Since I almost start the fellowship with a 11 cards hand and the only thing I don't drop on table are the stealth, this leave my hand full of shadow for my unlucky opponent.
The weed cards also provide great throughput, enhanced by Abandoning Reason on the shadow side.
P.S. Is that Mike Long the notorious Mike Long from MtG? I think i read somewhere that Patrick Sullivan is not the MtG player.
