At the start of the archery phase, you may make Legolas strength +2 until the regroup phase. If you do, Legolas does not contribute to the fellowship archery total.

Because I'm thinking you wanted to pull a Greenleaf style wording.

Um...I would give him something like hunter 1 or perhaps something that makes him a tad more powerful.

That is not just a matter of wording... not being an archer and not adding to the fellowship archery total are very different things. He'd still be a spottable archer for take up the bow, let's say.

I like the design as well, but check the posting format in order to make it more "clean", it helps. REALLY interesting, and a nice design space you're working with here! I think it should be done more, although losing, say, "ranger" is not as great as a handicap. Perhaps losgin damage bonuses, however, might.
