Thank you, I will check those out. I have way to many obsessions now. Back into LotRTCG now for some reason been collecting sports cards again and got back into MTG deck building as well. I need to hit a card show soon and unload alot of stuff. Getting older makes you dip back into things from your youth it appears. They were Right!

It hasn't been fixed because it's difficult to do so.  Within Gemp's engine, gollum getting discarded does not cause his play to get "canceled", it is a secondary trigger that occurs well after Northern Ithilien has determined that its action is completed.  The effect stack ends up looking like:

- Ithilien activated
- 2 threats removed
- Gollum played
- 2 burdens added
- Watcher's ability triggers and discards Gollum

Whatever solution is eventually crafted for this, it's going to have to involve altering the very core of how actions are handled, or it's going to have to involve, I dunno, adding some way for Ithilien to wait and check to see if Gollum is still in play after a tick has gone by.  Either way it's not trivial.

I think you were still active when I joined the forum ~2011, but I only check the link every month or 2. I still have a fair bit of stuff, depending on what you need.

These cards have gotten wildly valuable (especially the foil versions from the earlier sets and ofc some of the rares from Hunters+). I was putting decks back together and start wondering what they maybe be worth. So I did a quick search and found a place that suggested a site that still had many cards for sale and alot of collectors suggested as a place to roughly price what I had. Turns out I have a few decks worth $900 (not including the commons and uncommons unless they are foils).

The main cards I'm looking to buying right now are Ships of Great Draught x4 and Legolas, of the Grey Company and perhaps a Legolas, Of the Woodland Realm. Need the Legolas for a current deck where I'm running a Tengwar Greenleaf and the Ships will be for when I start building the Deck me Gil-estel and MacheteMan worked on back in the day for Movie block. The SoGD are a tall order I imagine but maybe you have a few or the Legolas cards.

Been a long time since I've thought about LotRTCG or been around this site. Got a Visit last year from an old friend from this time of my life. It was nice to get to meet Heije and welcome him into my home. Honestly can't remember the name he went by on this site, but Gil-Estel seems to ring a bell. We had a little sealed tournament when he visited and that got me to thinking about all the decks I had stored away in my guest bedroom closet. So I started putting them back together again since they were all mixed up in a box. That is what brought me back to this site as I vaguely remember I had posted my actual decks here.

Does anyone actually still collect the physical cards anymore? I might be interested in buying some here and there to finish off the decks that i still apparently ran proxy cards in.

Was nice to take a trip back down memory road and would enjoy to hear from anyone that may or may not still be around from better 15+ years ago.

Sealed Masters Final: Big Baddies Sealed

Below are the results and the replays of the matches for the 2025 Sealed Masters Final event. Each of these 12 competitors qualified for the final via one of the 12 qualifying events and earned the right to battle for the title of Sealed Master. The competitors knew that the format would be 1 of 4 custom sealed leagues: Big Baddies Sealed, The Nine Sealed, Little Baddies Sealed, or Allies Sealed. For this event, Big Baddies Sealed was selected and revealed to the players half an hour before the start of the event. Congratulation to our first Sealed Master, daisukeman!

PC Formats / 2025 World Championship Top 8 Tournament

On October 18th, 2025, the top 16 players from the 2025 WC Circuit were invited to compete for the opportunity to call themselves the World Champion.  The World Championship was divided into two phases, with the first Group Stage being a 6-round Swiss; the first 3 rounds were played using the PC-Fellowship format, and the final 3 were played using PC-Movie.  After the Swiss rounds, the top 8 players participated in a double-elimination knockout tournament, which used the same decks as the Group Stage.

This thread contains the replays used for all Top 8 games.  The decks themselves are unchanged from the Group Stage.  See here for the first 3 Group Stage rounds in PC-Fellowship.  See here for the final 3 Group Stage rounds in PC-Movie.



Games in the Upper Bracket were played using PC-Movie and games in the Lower Bracket were played in PC-Fellowship.  During the event, stephan77 needed to drop after his first victory in the first round.  It was ruled that his opponent m_scarpato would remain in the Upper Bracket, but he would be eliminated if losing a second time.

Remember that all cards utilize PC Errata, even if the non-errata'd version is shown below, and that set V1 cards and set V2 cards are also legal.
