SdA Questions
« on: October 24, 2008, 07:10:32 AM »
I have a couple of questions about SdA and I was wondering if there is any workaround. These directly affect three of my favorite decks:

1) Gift of the Evenstar, Blessed Light. I have a deck that will end up putting 10+ tokens on this card, and will be adding/removing them fairly often. Since SdA doesn't let you do this, how would you normally deal with it?

2) Gloin, Son of Groin and especially Gandalf, Manager of Wizards. There is no reason that SdA should reveal the names of cards that you move from your hand to your draw deck. My Manager of Wizards deck is useless if I am showing my opponent 3/6 of the cards in my hand every turn! One of the reasons that the original Sting was X-listed is that it gave a way for almost anybody (most decks had Frodo ringbearers) to consistently look at their opponent's hand every turn. Not fun. Is there any way to get around this?

I guess for the first one you could attach worthless cards from your discard pile to it. Or keep track of it some other way, there's plenty of ways to keep track of it. As for the second, IDK, trust your opponent?

Just ask them not to look at the chat/log and do the same if they counter it? :-k

I always watch the log because it is the chat screen. The problem for me is: I usually use Gandalf MoW to place Shadow cards on the top, which gives away my upcoming strategy.
