I can't bear watching the theatrical versions anymore, so I won't be picking up any blu-ray of Lotr until they release the extended versions.  I'll most likely be waiting till 2018.

yup agreed.  Its $70 for the Blu-Ray versions at the local Wal-Mart.  I think i will wait 'til they release the extended versions, instead of blowing the cash on the "uncomplete" versions now.

Fellowship of the Ring is kinda sketchy, better than the DVD though.
The other two are excellent.
