Ah, Cheerwine: the sweet red nectar of the gods.

My family used to travel to Sunset Beach (just north of Myrtle Beach) at the end of each summer, and it was there that I
discovered the cherry-flavored awesomeness known as Cheerwine. Sadly, when I returned home after living off it for several days that first trip, I couldn't find it ANYWHERE here in Maryland. Apparently it ceases to exist somewhere around the North Carolina/Virginia border. Every year when we went back, I'd stock up, bring a bunch home, and then weep softly when my supply ran out, having to wait for months before I could go back and get more.
I haven't been to Sunset Beach in three years, but my parents went this past week and brought some back for me.

Ah, how I missed it so.
Have any of you heard of this unique soft drink? If so, is it available in your area? I'm trying to narrow down where it is--and is not--sold so that I can know which vacation spots to look for it and which ones to not waste my time in the future.

'Twould also be good to know if it IS available anywhere even close to Maryland.
