Let us suppose for a moment that you could travel back through time and conduct a survey in Nazi Germany before and during the first half of the Second World War. The question on the survey would be "Is Adolf Hitler good or bad?"
I believe that the VAST majority would answer "He is good". Some few of these would be lying, in that they themselves thought he was bad but were afraid to admit it. Many, many more would be answering honestly.

If you were to claim that these people were wrong (or right) in believing Hitler to be good, and you were a human being, your opinion would be exactly as valid (in my opinion) as that of any other human being.

If you were to claim that these people were wrong (or right) in believing Hitler to be good, and you were God/Allah/Zeus/The Flying Spaghetti Monster (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flying spaghetti monster), I would treat your opinion as being much more valid than that of any mere mortal, assuming that you can prove to me that you even exist...

Where I come from, one has to first give respect in order to earn it.
