Unbearable orcs
« on: May 19, 2011, 12:25:06 PM »
I've never used this and its only an idea so I'm not as concerned with it functioning perfectly right now just wanna know if it would work.
2x Return To Its Master
4x Resistance Becomes Unbearable
4x Morgul Brute
4x Morgul Destroyer
3x Black Breath
3x The Witch-King, Black Captain (See him against Isildur)
4x Ulaire Enquea, Ringwraith in Twilight
3x Fell Beast
3x Ulaire Cantea, Faster than Winds
2x Ulaire Attea, The Easterling
2x Ulaire Nelya, Ringwraith in Twilight

So the strategy is simple.  Get as many wounds on the ring-bearer as possible then hit him with a RBU, then a RTIM, and during the skirmish drop Black Breath on their Ring-bearer.  Then use the other everyone else to force them to start adding threats and corrupting.

What, no Blade Tip to go with your little combo? Would do wonders, even against ARB. Would probably outright kill Frodos, though, which might mean you won't need that many Black Breaths to begin with.

Wouldn't actually kill Frodo as it adds burdens instead.  But I didn't think of it at all and its a nice nerf for anyone.

But that Witch-King does not let you play Return to Its Master.

I have use this tech a while bakc I stop since it was boring... either it is an easy win or it does nothing...

With this tech there is not many RB that will survive a 12 str nazgul. The Naz  win the RB is already exhausted he then die.....

Easy win!

2x Return To Its Master
3x Resistance Becomes Unbearable      NEED 4  +1
4x Morgul Brute
3x Morgul Destroyer   NEED 4  +1
3x Black Breath       MAYBE 2  -1
3x Flung Into the Fray   No need -3
3x Ulaire Lemenya, Assailing Minion  USELESS -3
3x The Witch-King, Black Captain (See him against Isildur)
2x Ulaire Enquea, Ringwraith in Twilight NEED 4, you need more twilight  +2
2x Ulaire Enquea, Lieutenant of Morgul  USELESS  -2
3x Fell Beast
1x Gorbag, Covetous Captain  USELESS  -1
2x Ulaire Cantea, Faster than Winds  GREAT IDEA may be 3 +1
2x Blade Tip
2X Twilight NAZ  +2

Total 33, For my part I might remove Blade tip and black breath and  add cards that adds burdens when the RB wears the one ring

Thats is my 2 cents

Right.. How about The Witch King, Morgul King then? I just really dislike the Black Captain. But hey, against Isildur and Boromir I guess he would be okay.

Removing orcs and non-twilight nazzies though my thought was to ram the RB with Blade tip then shotgun enquea any comp that got in my way.
