Then the rest of the mechanics from that point on are simply stupid keywords with no changes whatsoever to gameplay, so those should be easy to master (especially with reminder text).

My wife use to play with me and Ulmo all the time when we were just playing the Tower block.  I made the mistake of introducing her to German board games: Catan, Carcasonne, Ticket to Ride, Thurn and Taxis, Stone Age and Kingsburg.  Anytime we sit down to play a game she just wants to play one of those.  I enjoy them too, but I need to get her back to playing LoTR.

You could, you know, like... burn the other games? Like... in an accident? A horrible, horrible accident where they accidentaly got burned down and thrown out shortly thereafter, by accident? ;)

No, no, no....the German games are great. Just make her listen to me :D...Both are good, and as we say in Holland, changing food is good for the appetite!

Bit of a scrawny Iowan kid with an unhealthy artifact obsession. Oh, and a God of Spam. In a good way.

War of the ring is one of my favourite board games, and it is from Holland - this country gets more and more adorable  :uh-huh:

back to topic: Skip maneuver and Archery abilities and events! Take two starter (Shadow Gandalf, Shadow Legolas), so it is easier to learn this game. Otherwise, it is frustrating.

Tell me, how it has worked. Maybe, one time, we can organize a very big tournament, so we can meet each other.
