Tourney Results!!!
« on: March 01, 2009, 05:50:40 PM »
Here we can post the results of the tourney games.

You can give some comments of the match as soon as you didn't reveal anything of your opponent deck (like what culture he runs, it's strategy, if the deck is big or slim).

Since Kain can only play at night and weekends we agree to play or match today.

It was a fun and relaxed game to my part, Kain was genttle enough to let me take back one bad decision (i miss a site game text and that would be very bad to me if he didn't let me take back one decision). He punish me all the way but i got very lucky (well, he got very unlucky draws at a key moment) and i manage to win the game!

I have to thanks Kain for the great game we had and wish more lucky draws on the next matches  ;)

So we already have the first result: Pepin won against Kain

We have one unpredictable event occuring...in the middle of the game Tempest joins the table and stays there for about 2 minutes... I don't know if it was intentional scouting (which is not allowed at the tourney) so i will not acuse him for cheating or something before hear what he haves to say.

I know that everyone joins this tourney for fun, so i hope he was not trying to peak or something just to have an advantage at the next matches...but i guess things like that should not happen...

rofl yes totally I was cheating on gccg lotr online free tournament ... I'm looking at my master plan how to play against your deck . I totally need it its not like my ratio of winning is above 85% in gccg (would be 99% if I didn't play stupid movie decks ,where gccg removed cards like dwarven axe from my deck,or maybe i forgot them cos i made it in a hurry not sure...) .

ps I need some red ribbons if anyone has msg me , need to wrap my master plan in it ... who heard of a master plan without the red ribbons

First of all i think you don't need to be that agressive and sinic cause i made an respectuful post expecting that you just give us some explanation about what happened.

Second, i jugde people for what they do and behave, not for their winning ratio. It seems to me that you take too seriuosly the winning and gets really mad when you lose. Both times when we played movie block at gccg you end the game really pissed of just because you didn't won. You have great playing skills at lotr tcg so i see no point in assuming when you lose, cause no one is unbeatable, specially in a game that involve much of luck abd good/bad matchups.

When we ask you about have entered the game why you just didn't said you have entered by mistake or something instead of giving excuses and "walking in circles"?

I don't wanna stress myself or anyone because of something that would be just a moment to gather some people and have fun playing lotr tcg, so i really don't want to get on too deep in this issue. Just don't want you now to post something here like what i said was totally crazy nonsense of my twisted mind.

I want people to be honest. Like i said in the last post i didn't want to acuse you without leting you explain your point of view, if you don't wanna do it... fine... everyone can lives with that.

Tempest: First of all winning/losing doesn't make anyone better. Second, scouting is forbidden no matter how big is your winning ratio. Third, the fact that GCCG is free and online doesn't make the rules of the tournament less important. And finally, you should't make fun of a guy like Pepin, who is doing a great effort for this to run properly.

That being said, entering into a tournament game can happen accidentally and no one will blame you for that, if it's an accident. If not, that's a reason to be DQ'd, not because it is giving you information for your "secret master plan", but because nothing gives you the rights to break the rules and make fun of others.

No you didn't you made a post accusing me of cheating . There are several relevant factors 1)The tourney should have started 3rd march and that game was played on the start of 2nd,basically the 1st
2)If i didn't respond I was probably afk
3)I explained everything to you about 100 times and if you don't have the capacity to understand you should have told me and I would get my crayons and draw you a picture

Again wrong I was annoyed cos of errors . Not that this is important but I usually play with one guy on sda and practically the ratio of wining is on his side . So therefore I do not get pissed cos of losing or nor do I care

Again I was not making excuses cos I don't need to make any as I explained it to you but you appear unable to understand them which is again not my fault because I gave them in detail if you want we can go all over this again.

Yes very nice manipulation here . You practically say that I cause stress and you are just here for the fun (and I'm not) . And you go how you don't want to get too deep but you already did . And the last part looks like you say you don't want me to post anymore lies  . lol nice

And again you assume something that is not correct I explained it several times but again if your not smart to understand not my problem . Also again some manipulation where you set yourself with everyone rest and put me aside like I'm a black sheep .

PS I'm really disappointed at you . We played a number of games and all was good . And now you try to pull #$&*@! like this to make me look like a cheating ,lying, angry dude .
My reason of playing is not wining like you put it but ofc everyone likes to win which is not the point . I play for the same reason I go out with friends drink beer,be with gf,play chess, play cards etc. cos I like to do it .

Only reason I joined is cos I thought it would be normal, fun playing but seems like you are paranoid too much so I'm off the tournament ... I don't feel like playing it anymore , so feel free to put free win to my opponent . GG HF GL

1)actually it does , wining and losign does make one better like Fedor in Pride or Roger Federer in tenis etc etc .
2) ok i agree who said diffrent?
3) I agree with you again , again who said any diffrently?
4) why not ?  1st tournament didn't start on time and to tell the truth if the situation was reverse I wouldn't even think of the term scouting lol
Seems kinda sad especially since we played more games and I got a fealing we would play more ...

On the last part  if I entered the game which was apperently a tour game I have no memory cos I was afk most of the time . But lets say I did enter it I still didn't watch it (was afk pretty much entire day) . I assume he msged me while I entered(again not sure) if I didn't respond it would mean I was afk . The reason for entering(if i did) would be to obs game like everyone does , everytime .

PS i'm done with the red ribbons for my master plan I hear its so 80s also hf gl in tour

I'm sorry, but whatever you explained to the Head Judge needs to be exposed so the other players in both the tournament and the TCG community can look at it, to see that there is no one manipulating stuff or overlooking mistakes, it gives everyone a sense of security and shows how serious people are about what's going on with the game.
If Pepin has been appointed Head Judge for the tournament, he is RIGHT to notify people of the event and ask that you explain yourself, but he is WRONG to do so the way he did (sorry, Pepin). What he, as Head Judge, SHOULD have done is PM'ed you, and then post both his message, your response and his position on the case (and he DOES have the final saying in this).
Even so, because he made a mistake, YOU don't automatically get the right to post something along the lines you did by virtue of "two wrongs make a right", you just missed a GREAT opportunity to simply explain what happened, point out the error in his ways and come out on top. No, you had to "be cool" and pose as "Mr.-ohhh-look-at-me-there's-no-justice-in-the-world-I'm-the-best-player-all-around-I-don't-need-to-cheat-so-bite-me".
To be honest, by your attitude towards the Head Judge of a tournament alone (and IT DOESN'T MATTER the REL of the tournament or if it is or is not sanctioned, it's STILL a tournament), you should earn a DQ from the event. If it was a certified tournament (like, say, if a PC arises in the near future), you'd ALSO earn a nice ban to go along with it on your top shelf, you know, possibly alongside all those trophies and medals from having a win ratio of over 80%.
So, all in all, I'm sorry you reacted the way you did. Pepin has the final word on the subject, but if it were me, you could consider yourself disqualified, and be damned sure that you'd be kept under surveillance on future events.

PS: On a related note, mind the language AND the way you adress fellow forumers IN GENERAL, WHATEVER your reasons are. I hate deleting posts, but I AM still a moderator, and I was *this* close to simply deleting yours (and the subsequent answers)  instead of posting this response.

If you have a head judge, he prolly shouldn't be one of the players.

Well people i don't see myself as a "head judge" or something. i just gained the judge acess to give people the prizes for the matches and to make annuncements. I don't wanna start judge people because of this or that. I don't want (and i sure can't) be ruling all the stuff and etc. We had no one to take over this task, so i decided to give it a shot. I don't watch any game, i don't ban any people and sort of stuff, i just give them the prizes and make some eventual announcement.

Again i didn't acuse Tempest, i just ask him to explain why he entered the game. Being so disrespectful doesn't helps you in any way i think. You don't know me more than very superficially so saying that i'm an idiot don't worth more than a poo to me  ;)  Your interpretations of my words doesn't match with my intentions but i don't feel like explaning things or "getting my crayons to explain" (that was really sad...) and after the way you talked i really don't feel like apologize.

If people find some other person to be the judge i'm fine with that, if not i can be without problems.

omg lol this is the least amount of power i've seen got to someones head Felipe .

As I said I quit the tour and gg ... and ur interpretations are just plain bad , I explained everything and ur lame interpretation to try and discredit me is very funny .

Please don't try to scare me , seriously .If you want to ban and delete  feel free to do so (I don't care). All I want to do is play normally with ppl without the bs which was going on pretty well until this . Cards are supposed to be fun and you all made a ELEPHANT of it , which is kinda sad .

PS also my drawing you a picture with crayons was very funny and who asked you to apologize ?
And its not my interpretation of your words its your interpretation of your words . Look at them more closely and you will c .

One last thing just to be sure I'm not mad or anything if anyone asked me for a game I would gladly accept(given i have time) all I'm doing is pointing out the obvious . That this was totally and utterly not relevant and uncalled for .
