Freeloader / Homebrew (Nintendo Wii)
« on: February 17, 2009, 05:54:18 PM »
Wondering if any of you guys around here know anything about the Wii Freeloader or the Homebrew Channel. I was needing some "technical" help with both (basically, deciding which to use) to play Jap. games on my U.S. Wii. Other forums (curse them!) that are often more relevant that this one (sorry, guys) have as yet revealed no one helpful (so still, you're the best). Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?

Twilight Princess hack? Or did Nintendo stomp that one already? I know they keep pushing updates to try to stop Homebrew, and those in the know keep breaking through their barriers. ;D But I haven't tried anything yet on my bro's Wii.

I'm pretty sure them Twilight Hack'ers have updated it so that it'll work. I haven't updated my Wii since I got it (and since I'm not paying for an Internet connection or something, I figure it's a good reason why I haven't auto-updated) and I'm still at Version 3.1. So even an older twilight hack will work for me.

I'm not sure which app on the homebrew channel allows you to play other-region games, though.
