If I played Numenor's Pride during regroup phase with Treebeard, KotW, would I have to discard it during that regroup phase? It says discard at the start of the regroup phase, but it's the middle of the regroup phase when I use Treebeard, KotW text.

Technically, "at the start of the regroup phase" and regroup actions are much different.
