Uruk Rogue

With Broad-Bladed Sword, can it exert twice to make itself fierce and such? Exertions aren't technically wounds, right?
A wizard is never late...nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to.

Yes, it can still exert. Exertions aren't wounds (compare Strength of Spirit to Intimidate).

so if my ringbearer is wearing the One Ring, Such a Weight to Carry,  he can't take exertions as burdens correct? I'm thinking of Resistance Becomes Unbearable.

correct...but you can't "die of exhaustion" in this game...exertions don't kill people.  Wounds kill people.

Yeah, there are basically three differences between exertions and wounds:
1. Exertions and wounds are different terms, so if a card affects exertions it doesn't affect wounds, and vice-versa.
2. You take wounds from the enemy archery total, losing skirmishes, and threats (in contrast, the only way you ever get exertions is from the game text of cards).
3. Exhausted characters (characters with one vitality) can never exert, but they can take a wound (which will kill them unless a card prevents it).

Thanks for the input, it's good to know Frodo can't take exertions as burdens, lol. XD

Trust me, you can definitely die of exhaustion.  I do it to people all the time!
Resistance Becomes Unbearable is nasty...

Isn't it the only card that does so?

I think you're right.  RBU may be the only card that deals with exhaustion so directly.  A bunch of the [Uruk] cards gain strength boosts for exhausted companions, though:

Bloodthirsty Uruk, Furor, Hounding Uruk, are a few.  You can't forget to mention Lurtz, Minion of the White Wizard. He's deadly.
