Tough Moria (shadow only)
« on: July 20, 2010, 09:13:48 PM »
The idea here is to make a moria deck that is not swarm, but powaful.

Goblin Armory x3
Goblin Flankers x4
Goblin Patrol Troop x3
Goblin Runner x4
Goblin Swarms x2
Moria Axe x4
They Are Coming x3
Moria Scout x3
Roggy (set 2)
troll's keyward x3

I tried it once, and it did alright.  What do you think? Opinions? I know moria works best when swarming, but I thought it would be nice to see a new kind of moria deck, a muscley one

I'd drop the reinforcements for either ulaire enquea, lom, troll's keyward, or that nazzie that plays minions from your discard pile

You'll need a fourth Goblin Armory. Relics of Moria x2 is also what you need as you have no Goblin Scavengers. You can make this deck 35/35.

Not in FOTR block. Relics of Moria is allowed.

Ancient Chieftain isn't that good in such a deck... I mean... your Orcs are so expensive that he'll only have a strength +1 bonus most of the time. Moria Scout is also something you could look at. There are a lot of Elves in FOTR Block. 4 Goblin Patrol Troop might be a little too much, I'd rather use 3 only. Goblin Reinforcements are incredibly weak.

Guard Commander is my boy. Love him.

But I think you need Troll's Keyward if you are running Moria Axe.
