Profile Picture help...

I tried to add a picture to my profile but it is not showing up.  I picked one from my computer and hit UPDATE and it just disappears.  Is there a waiting period?  Am I stupid and just doing it wrong??  There is no button that says upload, just BROWSE and then UPDATE PROFILE.

there's size restrictions if your'e picture was too big then it wouldn't load

How small does it have to be???  I am trying photos that are 29 KB and under....

I think if you use a .gif instead of a .jpeg you might have some success?

tried .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .png...nothing works.

Well I have to say I have the same problem. The reason I have no profile picture is that it just doesn't show up. I have tried everything just like Morgul_rat.

Did you click the matching radio button (e.g. "I will upload my own picture")?

YEs, I picked the radio button.  I also see a BROWSE button...but usually when I upload a pic too a site, there is a button that says UPLOAD too...not here.

I am using an iMAC...Yanko, are you using MAC too?

Nope, I use a Windows. And yes, I clicked on the radio button.

i had a heap of problems when I first tried to get a picture and tried everything.

I ended up just linking to a website rather than using my own picture.

Same as chompers. All around, it was a #$&*@! to do.

I also can have no avatar uploaded from my computer.. Only linking to a website works.

Originally tlhh did let me upload one, but when I tried to change it, something glitched and now won't let me upload anything for an avatar.

I asked Kralik about it ages ago, but have had no luck fixing it.

I use windows XP and Google Chrome.
