I think Merry, Loyal Companion and Pippin, Steadfast Friend are better fighters than the ones you are using. Apart from that, Sudden Fury is a must, I'd say, and Fates Entwined diserves a place there too, at least 2 of.

What is this decks strategy?  It seems to be based off of those two unbound hobbits and if they're killed it could be murder.  What you could do is change to Sam, Son of Hamfast as he's unbound and therefore subject to the advantage of Escape and Everyone Knows.  Otherwise he's 11 strength at best but here he's 17 at best and adds to Aragorn's effect.  Could also add Gimli, Lockbearer and Legolas, Dauntless Hunter.  The problem then is that you have to add a bunch of possessions to buff them up.

Fates Entwined isn't movie legal. but i agree with that suggestion, fighting hobbits should have fates entwined...so my suggestion is to take this deck to another format instead of movie. hehe

once outside movie, u can add the bilbo companion, go with 4 copies of fates entwined and use the merry companion that adds his str to another companion to get more victories.

Jdizzy001, maybe The Shire Countryside with something to remove burdens, to have then both healing and burden removal, something this deck lacks and needs for A Promise and Escape to work.

In addition to what ket said, I'd switch Sworn to Service to Friend to Frodo. Sworn to Service has a chance to be stronger, but Friend to Frodo will keep your Everyone Knows and There and Back Again safe.

I agree with you using of Merry, from o'er the brandywine...he is my favorite Merry!  Sure Loyal Companion is good but he requires others to be assigned when he skirmishes, but the Brandywine version's pump is always there as long as he has his trusty sword!  I also like you choice of Sam.  That is my fav Sam as well.

I personally would throw in 1 or 2 "Bounder" to keep from getting overwhelmed and 1 or 2 "Not Feared in Sunlight" to cut down on the disease known as 'nazgul-death'.

Lastly, Ket_the_jet is right...SPLASH Gandalf.  I use Gandalf for support in every deck where I need a little extra...eerrr...support.  In fact, I think Gandalf is useful in just about every deck.  BUT, it's your deck and your style, so if you really want to use Gondor/man, I would use Boromir, Son of Denethor...he can pump hobbits with +3 so it fits your theme of fighting hobbits.  You could use him only as support than then fight occasionally to avoid being swarmed.

For condition discarding, gandalf is the way to go.  I think I'll use either defender of the west or grey pilgrim for drawing.  as for bounder, normally yes, but mind you these are going to be str 10+ hobbits.  However, even with really pumped up hobbits, they still don't have dmg bonuses so they'll be moving right slow.  That's what you get when the average height of your fellowship is 3'6"!

WOW...I don't think I ever played against someone who used that card...I've never used it personally either.  BUT now...it will be in the next deck I build!  hahahaha!  Thanks for the idea!

Personally I disagree with Morgul_Rat.  Not feared in the sunlight isn't in and of itself a 'bad card' the problem is it's extremely conditional.  If you get hit with anything other than Nazgul, that card will do you nothing.  Personally I'd change to Friend to Frodo, and Friend to Sam for the reasons stated earlier.  Also you don't have many unbound hobbits, maybe add a Rosie Cotton, Hobbiton Lass to help tank up Sam?  Also if you can buff Merry up enough and I know it isn't legal in movie but if you're looking for play around fates entwined you wouldn't need the Not Feared in Sunlight due to the fact that Merry could constantly add his strength to another companion.

in movie block there are only 2 unbound hobbits.  allies are neither ring-bound nor unbound.  I could easily drop some dagger strikes for rosie.  I just love running dagger strikes cause they're Ket's favorite
