Plundered Armory

Does the text for this apply when  assigning wounds during the archery phase if all minions will die from archery.

ie,  I have 2 orcs  one with a scimitar, FP archery will kill both but can I choose to kill the one with scimitar first then use plundered text to place it on other orc and draw a card before he takes the other archery and die? I know you assign wounds one at a time but do you react to one at a time.

You can finish the action on that card before assigning more wounds, as wounds are assigned one at at time.
