I've been told that some users have been receiving unsolicited advertisements from another member (name purposefully withheld). It seems like a good opportunity to bring this up:
If you have a website or business that you'd like to share, generally that's fine. Say, you sew your own blankets from alpaca wool based on LotR cards. Post in the Council of Cobra. However, please do not irritate other users by PM'ing them with ads. We get enough of those online as it is! Mods will be the judge as to what in the CoC is considered SPAM and what is just innocent.
Example:
Hey guys, I was just browsing thinkgeek.com and noticed that they sell caffeinated soap! At first I was incredulous, but after trying it, I found that my morning shower is a real pick-me-up! On a side note though, my wife thinks I smell too much like coffee... 
has anyone else tried this?
