Is it possible to use one of the versions of frodo other than
frenzied fighter
as a companion? If so, would his twilight cost be zero as printed?

Frenzied Fighter
can't be ringbearer. All others must be ringbearer.

Frenzied Fighter
is the only version of Frodo that you can play as a non-Ring-bearer.
