Neekerbreekers' Bog and Lingering Shadow
« on: January 05, 2014, 06:47:06 AM »
I played a game today where I, as the shadow player, had 4 copies of Lingering Shadow attached to my opponent's wounded companions. The companions each had 5 resistance. My opponent then moved to Neekerbreekers' Bog. What happens next: 1) all the wounded companions heal, thus adding 4 burdens, or 2) one companion heals, adding a burden, thus causing the other companions to exert? In our game, we did option one. Opinions?

When multiple automatic actions are lined up (in this case, choosing the order that the Bog affects the characters), the FP player chooses which one occurs first.

OK. So, the effect of the Bog is not simultaneous, correct? Option 2 is the right way to go?

If I understand your scenario correctly, every companion has a copy of Lingering Shadow on him? So yes, FP would choose one to heal, his copy of LS will add a burden, meaning the Bog will have the opposite effect on the rest of the companions.

Thanks! The Bog and LS seem to be a good combo, then.  ;D

This may be correct. However, just wanted to point out that I don't think this is currently the way Gemp implements it. If the Bog is causing some of my characters to heal, and other of my characters to exert, it does not ask me what order I want that to happen in.
