GEMP Stability Post Merchant Change
« on: March 13, 2014, 06:40:46 AM »
Hello all!

It has been 2 months since the reset (thereabouts anyway) and the merchant change.  I'd like to get a poll of the players and see how they feel the server stability has been.  Have you noticed a difference in the server performance?

Feel free to leave feedback below as well as voting.

Thanks,

Merrick_H

So far any problems that I have encountered have either been on my end with trying to connect from China (there aren't enough VPNs in existence to keep my ISP from frequently kicking me from the site, haha).

Other than that, I haven't noticed virtually ANY lag. Sometimes the cards won't load for some reason, but after refreshing they seem to fix themselves.

All together quite a huge difference for the better :)

Thanks!

For the most part, it seems to be a lot better to me. For a long time I was getting a lot of error messages in the Merchant, and it was impossible to get it to display packs. Now packs do show up, but I still get error messages on occasion for other stuff, particularly when selling cards back. After the 2nd or 3rd page, it will suddenly say, "unable to contact server" (or something like that), and then won't work anymore.

But game-wise, it does seem more stable to me.
