Extended Lockdown?
« on: October 01, 2008, 07:18:33 PM »
I was just thinking of a lockdown deck. Like, slow painful deck.

Erayo, Soratami Ascendant + Nath of the Gilt-Leaf + Megrim and other discard cards.

The idea is to flip Erayo, then empty their hand. They draw 1 card per turn, and it gets auto-countered, or if it doesn't, it gets tossed with Nath of the Gilt-Leaf.

Thoughts?

Mainly one: there's absolutely no way you can actually build a reliable deck to pull off that combo. Really. It's too slow. Of course, Extended got a really good shake, since some decks got killed off, but still, my Zoo deck can reliably win on turn 5 with pretty much any hand if unoposed, and a deck that costs this much to set up is going to get run over.
I like the idea, though. Evil...
