Did anyone else play Star Wars Miniatures?

...because I hand-crafted some templates and have gotten to work on a rules variant for Pokemon. Any interest in some LotR stuff?

I was sad to see Star Wars minis die off... it was one of the better miniature games during the mini craze.

I have mine as well. I only played one or two times. I liked the republic commandos best (jedi aside). However, I bought mine for RPG and not mini games. For minis I played mage knight, then LOTRSBG. Now I play Song of Blade and Heroes. Which is an amazing game. You can use any mini you want from any line. Just google song of blade and heroes and prepare to have your mind blown!

I played Star Wars Miniatures up until the first set with the Old Republic stuff... what was that like the 6th set? I still continued to follow the game to the end but all the game stores in my area closed shop so I really couldnt buy them anymore

Hey jdizzy by LOTRSBG do you mean the Sabertoothgames Hex mini game or do you mean the sell your soul expensive workshop one? Oh and old school Mage Knight was the freaking best!!!!

I collected the guys when they were 5$ a box at my local five below.  Thought they would have huge resale value.  Didn't work out.  Now I have a load of them in my closet, so I might as well learn the game.

I played the gw game. But I stopped because I got sick of paying gw's prices. I now collect reaper and dark sword minis. However, i'm always looking for lotr minis for good prices. a lot of retails are trying to dump their gw lotr minis stock so I try to keep an eye out

I loved SW minis!  Unfortunately, after moving, I had no one nearby.  And it was thus that my AT-AT and most of my singles turned into "dineros."  I do still have my favorite imperial setup just in case, though - Vader, Imperial Commander with a slew of 501st stormtroopers  :-)

The Pokemon conversion looks great - nice work!





Axis and Allies minis...now, the tackleboxes on my shelf tell a different story  :-)
