Hello all! I started coming up with a concept for a new game based on the world of Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson. For anyone who knows the books, it would be based before the events of the end of the first book. You would run a thieving crew that is attempting to scam the nobility of the final empire, both to make a living and for the thrill and challenge of it.
What I have so far is some early stage, bare bones notes for the turn structure, some of the mechanics, some of the card stats, and card types. I'd like it to be a competitive card game, probably where two or more "crews" are gunning for the same jobs.
If anyone is interested in helping me out, that would be great! I'd obviously prefer if you've read the books, but its not required. More important is experience making games
I'd very much like this game to be somewhat unique from other games I've played (Magic, LotR TCG and LCG, Star Wars LCG, various other Star Wars games). Some of the biggest differences I'm hoping will be a much smaller emphasis on combat, location based play, and much more thematic.
