Apparently, the extended edition of The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies -releasing October 20th- is going to be rated "R".
What are your thoughts on this?

There was a lot of violence cut off to get through to the younger audiences. If that means more Beorn and more battle, I won't complain
.
I read on a site (or saw on a video, can't remember) that Beorn falls with much more violence on the Orcs, crushing them with his bear paws.

Ah, that would make sense.
I was just a bit shocked that a Hobbit movie had something in it to warrent an "R" rating.

I never liked the wounds and cuts without blood in the first film. It's a book for children, but full of war.
