Ok, I can see where you're coming from to some extent.
Here's how I look at it: If I get offended by a comment or action that someone makes, then I'm giving them power over me. By not getting offended, I keep the balance of power, my honor and they get to look like petty pathetic idiots.
If I could sue everyone I thought was an idiot, I'd keep all you lawyers in practice for a *very* long time.
Here in the US there are many rights, but you do not have the right to not be offended.
