It Backfired

Tell us your stories of the ultimate backfires!

My greatest would have to be playing my new Grixis Disrupt deck.

Turn 1: My land drop, he drops birds.
Turn 2: My land drop, he drops Doran.
Turn 3: My Blightning. He had a pair of Wilt-Leaf Lieges in hand. Owie. He swings for 21.

Other backfires, Vintage, guy I was playing played Painter's Servant set to blue, then dropped Grindstone. I was sitting with a Force of Will and a land in hand, nothing else. w00t.

Other guy Swerved my Extirpate to target my Relentless Rats. Whoops.

It's not cheating if you can trick the other guy into believing you.

Maybe you guys can find a bard and have your story of heroic Balrog proximity put into verse.

My friend gave me his "secondary" deck to use against him... only he took out all the lands beforehand. T'was a shame, I had some devastating cards in hand.
