What do you think about the new movie? As far as we can estimate, aslong as he has not appeared so far...

It does indeed. This is one movie series that, I think, has gotten better over time.

I can't wait for 7! I hear they're doing it in two parts, so that they do justice to it.

Wow, this is weird.  I just started getting into Harry Potter recently.  I thought people here would think I was being childish!  lol  I love the way that JK Rowling writes.  She has such intricate plotlines, and things you think are insignifigant become extremely important later on.  Also, I love how she makes you think that certain characters are completely evil (don't know how much to say here, don't want to spoil it for anyone who doesn't know), then she turns it around and shows that they were actually good!

I'm so happy that the are doing 7 in two parts. There's not really much you could cut from that book without ruining it so its a really good decision to split it in two.

I agree.  I was disappointed with movie The Order Of The Phoenix because it left masses of the book out.  It didn't even have Quidditch!  And Umbridge was much more evil in the book than the movie (although I do think they found the perfect actress to play her, she was spot on).  I'm glad that they are going to split Deathly Hallows into 2 movies, so that they will do it properly.

I've seen the previews for the Half-Blood Prince, and I think they've done a good job of portraying Tom Riddle as a boy.  He's good looking enough to look like an innocent (if a bit troubled) little boy, but just creepy enough to foreshadow what is to come.

I love complicated books that have many interwoven storylines (such as Lord of the Rings, obviously, lol).  I misjudge the Harry Potter books at first.  I dismissed them as childrens' books.  Now that they have gotten further on, though, I really like them!
