Strategy:Basic
IB deck, get those IBs out and start to discard everything that hits the table. You don't lose a skirmish you heal with
Citadel of Minas Tirith. You add threats with either
Calculated Risk and/or
Aragorn's Bow, Ranger's Longbow. Peel threats with
Hearts Raised. Decided to go with Gimli RB to do more drawing (eg.
Calculated Risk) and discard some pesky shadow cards with
BRC . Basically discard, shoot arrows, and survive
.

Orkish Lackey (

Strategy:Basically get out as many
Gates of the Dead City and
Demoralized as possible. Use
cards to add burdens, which will exert companions, which will add twilight. To add burdens you can either play
Ulaire Enquea, Thrall of the One and have
Gothmog, Morgul Leader get him exhausted and add those burdens during the skirmish phase. If you are facing a 1 or 2 culture fellowship play
Ulaire Nertea, Dark Horseman get him on the Ring-bearer. Slap the RB with a
Lingering Shadow, get the wounds/exertions on the RB. Next play
Dark Temptation and another Nazgul heal the RB twice adding 3 burdens, adding 3 exertions per
Gates of the Dead City in play, adding 3 twilight per
Demoralized in play. If you manage to have all 4 Gates and all 4
Demoralized in play that would mean 48 extra twilight in the pool. Now what to do with all the extra twilight? I say force the double move. I decided to run threat orcs and
Lemenya, ET so when you exhausted the fellowship and hit them with Gothmog's arrows or Lackeys kill they have to eat even more death
. With a Witch-king out the poor RB can't take those wounds so say goodbye fellowship. With enough extra twilight out not to hard to see a Witch-king, Gothmog, and several other nice minions out for the double. Gothmog can even use his regroup ability to get a few more minions (Lackey) out of the discard for the double move. Nelya of course cause havoc by replacing your
Buckland Homestead,
Woody-end,
Neekerbreekers' Bog and
Doorway to Doom after you get there benefit so you can play them over again
Sites Buckland Homestead (
11S230)
Courtyard Parapet (
13U188)
Woody-end (
11S266)
Doorway to Doom (
18U134)
Cavern Entrance (
11S232)
Neekerbreekers' Bog (
11S249)
Barazinbar (
11S229)
Moria Guardroom (
11S247)
Sirannon Ruins (
18U138)
Buckland Homestead to discard annoying conditions.
Courtyard Parapet incase you can get the corruption.
Woody-end to turn those burdens into a better swarm for the twilight heavy forced double.
Doorway to Doom to possible kill some companions if you get them exhausted and have the threats setup.
Cavern Entrance for the annoying
Great Ring and other skirmish special ability decks.
Neekerbreekers' Bog for more exerting fun with the burdens you can have.
Barazinbar (to start if you go first) to pull Gimli's Axe or
Armor of Khazad.
Moria Guardroom to draw a few extra cards when you move.
Sirannon Ruins to just get extra twilight for the shadow if needed.
Well as always let me know what you like, what you hate, and what should be replaced and for what
