wasn't it you basically end up with all shadow cards, thereby making it a lot easier to set up your shadow? so you would basically just try to survive and let your shadow smackdown the enemy if I am correct.

and theJord's combo isn't too evil IMSO...only works in king block for one, and only 4 cards max anyway...house of healing does it just as well IMSO

Usualy I make Denethor work with that Aragorn signet card that heals twice: Hard Choice. Once I paired the Captain with Mordor Fiend, just to show my friend the brute power of both combinations. He is still a good friend.......

They should of just changed the cards a wee bit so captain didn't need to get x'd. I don't like it when cards are made that cannot be used to play.

You can still play haim on Standart, Expanded and Open :P

What is perfect in LOTR format play - every card ever printed is still playable in some format or another.

Though I still have doubts about cards like Lightfootedness. ;)

(I suppose if you packed 4 copies of every [Elven] event ever made... and then exerted Cirdan. Thrice. -195 FTW?)

how many elven events are there, you times that by 4, then times it by another 4(cirdan with narya) than you have an evil thing...that would take 16 sites to set up.

Well... if there are 65 unique [Elven] events (may have miscounted... although I'm not too eager to reveal I did fire up LOTRO out of sheer curiosity), then multiplied by 3 that's 195. I should've just said "arbitrary large number," huh?

Excluding infinite loops (Broken in Defeat + Orc Skulker) the largest I have ever seen a minion get was 117 so getting a -780 will usually be pointless.

Lets make decks designed to create 1000 strength minions.

*headdesk* Where did the 4 go? What an honor to be corrected by a Maia! :)

Since I was off already, what's the maximum vitality for Cirdan? 4 + Elven Armaments + Aiglos + Narya, Ring of Fire = 7?

So 65 (?) x 4 x (7 - 1) = 1560... wow, not bad.

Cirdan could still die to archery if you don't have Lightfootedness. Or if you have naught but Shadow in thy hand. :P

Ahaha, 2080... incidentally I never realized [Elven] vitality could be pumped so high.

Cirdan could still die to archery if you don't have Lightfootedness.

No Aiglos -- cannot be combined with the Elven Armaments since they are both Hand Weapons. ;)

arbitrary large number is not as fun as figuring it out myself...
is there any large loop that can add a lot of twilight for either side?

Not have 6 companions? Connected by Fate or Dauntless Hunter? And Wise Guide would end it right away.

If you had to tech against every deck, then your deck wouldn't do anything. Face it, some decks just smash certain other decks. :P

Everyone always posts what would kill a certain deck. And I'd like to see them take every single one of those ideas and stick 'em in a deck.
