They were good, until they released Black Holes and Revelations, which is really sub-par for their standard. Listen to Origin of Symmetry

Knights of Cydonia and Supermassive Black Hole came from Black Holes and Revelations, which are two big hits.

But Origin of Symmetry is my favorite album, followed by Absolution.

LOVE THEM SOOOOOO MUCH!!!! Origin of Symmetry and Absolution are incredible albums. Especially Absolution. Time is Running Out is my personal favourite. There very popluar over here although a bit out of the limelight at the moment as they haven't had anything new for a couple of years.

Word on the street is that they're working on their next album.

I'd have to say my personal favorite is New Born, followed closely by Starlight and Sing for Absolution.

Muse are ace and very big over here. Plus Jordy doesnt know what he is talking about! Black holes was well received and a brilliant album.

I like Muse, don't have much, but what little I do have I really like, especially Knights of Cydonia.

Lem0n you dont seriously think Black Holes and Revelations was a patch on Origin of Symmetry?

I dont think its very fair to compare with the amount of time between them, Muse were bound to change their music a bit, and i certainly dont think you can write it off or say its worse than it.

The best bands always evolve their style over time just look at the Beatles or Coldplay. Its been a long time now since Origin of Symmetry and its a good thing that their style has changed a bit. They would be very boring if they were still exactly the same.
