If you look at the stickied topics in the Chamber of Mazarbul, you'll see this:

All card ideas are welcome here. Please note, however, that dream cards should be written as text; altered card images are not allowed as they may violate the copyrights of New Line and/or Decipher.

As long as you're creating something from scratch and not basing your images on Decipher's cards, I'm pretty sure that's fine.

Right. A few years back I collaborated with another LotR player and we designed all-new templates. It was actually pretty fun.

Well I thought I had them saved somewhere on my computer... it looks like they've all been lost to the sands of time.

I *do* have some graphic cards for SWCCG using LotR themes. Not sure if those are okay to post though.

Dude, it's not like anybody cares about the copyright anymore! C'mon, SdA breaks the frickin' copyright and we have it all over the site, both the Admins have used it, there's a sticked thread that contains a link to its download; and it's no more legal then this. So give him a break already!  :roll:

Posting images of existing Decipher cards is different than altering those images to create new dream cards. Believe me, I wish we could since I have all the LOTR TCG templates myself and would LOVE to make some graphical DCs, but TLHH can't endorse it. It's a gray area, yes--especially with Decipher no longer producing LOTR TCG and with their LOTR license expired--but until there is more definate word, it would be playing with fire to start meddling in graphical DCs.
